Blair Thornley’s whimsical drawings have appeared in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Atlantic Monthly, Forbes, Ray Gun, and other national publications. She has transformed the magic of her illustrations into paintings that showcase her quirky view of the world. Raised on the East Coast, Thornley studied art in Florence, Italy and later attended New York’s Parsons School of Design. She has exhibited her work in a show entitled “Automobile” at the Pasadena Museum of California Art, the Judy A. Saslow Gallery in Chicago, the Harmon Gallery in Wellfleet MA and at the Rice Polack Gallery, Provincetown MA.
